The company MPC Holding in cooperation with the Commercial High-School in Belgrade and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia has started with the project of high-school pupils education named ‘’Modern Commercial Trends’’. The scope of the project is to provide the high-school pupils with practical knowledge, experience and possibility of getting a job after finishing the high-school.

This project implies a series of lectures intended for the interested pupils of the final classes of the Commercial High-School in Belgrade, which shall be held voluntarily by the employees of the company MPC Holding – representatives of the HR department, marketing and IT departments and retail/wholesale sectors of the company within the trade department.
By the education plan, the following subjects shall be represented to the pupils:
1. Modern trade trends
    How to please a shopper
2. Modern sports equipment trade
   (examples of the brands Reflex , Reebok, Colmar)
3. Modern fashion brands trade
    (Mango, Springfield, Cortefiel)
4. Modern trade marketing
5. Modern trade IT
6. Modern distribution
   (example of the Company "Mercata")
7. Modern trade logistics
8. Selling skills
    How to be a GOOD SALESMAN

The teachers and management of the Commercial High-School, which aroused more than excellent interest among the pupils, provided technical conditions for realization of the project in the facilities of the school itself, and improved the interaction between the pupils and the presenters by their participation in the lectures, play active role and provide support for the realization of this project.

The educative series from the mentioned fields shall be realized once a month, during the whole school-year. The first lectures were held on October 8th and 9th 2008. During the project, the pupils shall have a possibility of working as interns in the Company retail objects at the territory of Belgrade. The pupils which take participation in the volunteering program and achieve satisfactory results shall also have a possibility of employment with the company MPC Holding, which is the most important result of this project.
