Social Responsibility

MPC cares about the community in which we live and work. We are committed to the social development of the community in which we operate. Our projects considerably improve Belgrade’s image. We believe that our obligation is to be an engine of development, promoter of modernization and efficient market economy in Serbia respecting at the same time environmental concerns and local community.

Our commitment to the above principles is reflected in:

  • Investment in community, projects and people who contribute to progress.


2007.

  • We supported Economic Conference “Corporate Social Responsibility – Challenges and Tendencies”, as a friend of the Conference.
  • We supported humanitarian organization "Little Big People" and campaign "Santa's Sleigh" in which we handed 260 New Year presents to children with special needs in the home "Nikola Sumenkovic" in Stamnica near Petrovac na Mlavi.
  • We participated in a huge humanitarian campaign “You can do it” aimed at finding lasting solutions to the problems of displaced persons and refugees, organized by humanitarian organization Divac.
  • We supported the initiative of the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade – 37th International Scientific Meeting of the Slavists
  • We supported the 9th European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF)
  • We supported the Clinical Center of Serbia
  • We participated in the campaign initiated by daily “Blic” called “Presents for Children’s Hospitals”. The proceeds were used to purchase infusion pumps
  • for children’s hospitals
  • We financed the trip of architecture student hand-ball team to Eurocriterium 2007 tournament held in Paris
  • We were the main sponsor of the Conference Real Estate Market in Southeastern Europe 2007
  • We supported the Belgrade Design Week 2006 as a friend of the festival
  • We supported campaign “Chess tournament for Novi Beograd pre-school children”.


2006.

  • In cooperation with Group 484, we distributed Springfield clothes to refugees and children up to 12 years of age accommodated in eight collective centers in the territory of Belgrade.
  • We supported the Republican association of Serbia for assistance to autistic people and the Center for the Development of Inclusive Society CRID
  • We sponsored the event “Summer in Novi Beograd”.
  • We were one of the sponsors of the Venetian Biennale in Architecture.
  • We supported XI humanitarian tennis tournament of public persons 2006.
  • We provided assistance to the Clinical Center of Serbia.
  • We supported the organization “Living Upright” (promoting the rights and assistance to people with disabilities).
  • We sponsored the competition of the Musical Youth.
