MPC Holding Mercata

The main activity of this MPC Holding member is retail of cigarettes and other consumer goods.

Top professional business principles have resulted in a well organized system of logistics and distribution, comprising: a network of 9 retail stores in northern, central and southern Serbia, 165 employees, a car park with more than 100 transport vehicles and a warehouse of 3,000 sq m. Thanks to great efficiency and modern technology used by the employees, MPC Holding Mercata has a 10 per cent share in the Serbian cigarette market. The capacity of this  distribution network is 1,500 customers on a daily basis. The goods are stored in our warehouses in a manner guaranteeing quality, safety and 24 hour availability.

Mercata ensured the presence of all major cigarette manufacturers in the domestic market: Japan Tobacco International, Gallaher, Tvornica Duhana Rovinj, Monus, Reemtsma d.o.o ( a member of Imperial Tobacco Group), British American Tobacco, Karelia Tobacco Company Inc.

Mercata has recently expanded its activities to the distribution of SIM cards for cell phones. After the contract with Norwegian Telenor, Mercata concluded an agreement with a new, third cell phone operator, Austrian Mobilcom company.
